Question: Why would methadone show up in my urine test?

I see a pain specialist doctor for a back injury. Every six months I must give a urine sample, which is a dip stick test in- office. On my last visit, marijuana was found as were two other prescription drugs of which I do not take. The doctor is now sending my urine to a lab to be tested. I am not worried the prescription drugs found as I do not take those however, I do smoke pot once in a while to help with pain control. I live in California but do not have a cannabis card. I am sure my doctor will put this in my report to my workers compensation carrier who pays for my doctor visits. Can the insurance company deny all further medical care due to my pot use? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, K.
