You can't get a monthly supscription for methadone pills, they are too powerful for somebody to overdose on. Hope I helped.

Have you ever tried Suboxone???I was in a BAD car accident and was steadily given narcotic pain meds, til one day,I decided enough was enough.I had no life.I started going to the methadone clinic, after deciding I did NOT want anymore pain meds. But the methadone daily visits got very old, very fast. Not only was it costly,$14 a day,not covered by insurance, but having to get a ride everyday.I have been on Suboxone for 9 months,1 week, &4 days now.It seriously changed my life.At first, coming off the methadone,to go on Suboxone was rough, but nothing too bad.If you've ever experienced detox,it's no where near that.Just light symptoms.Anyways,I would probably be in jail or dead without the Suboxone.Only certain authorized doctors can prescribe it and if you don't have insurance that will cover it,then you do have a problem.I believe it runs close to a $1000 a month, for what I get,but my insurance is great &I only pay $25 &the doctor even gave me a discount copay card,so for the next few months,it's totally free.I know when I was in denial,I wouldn't have even thought about trying it.But when I did,it's been the best thing ever. It's soooo nice not having to worry about the bs that comes with pain meds and methadone.Good Luck!! &I am here if u need support,or have further questions.
