In your area what is the street price of liquid methadone per milligram?
Just need to know how much liquid methadone is going for in your area, I am compiling these stats as part of my research for a report. I take a bottle of liquid methadone every morning, this perticular day we were having a yard sale early, so i grabbed everything i needed superfast, put my methadone in my jacket pocket. it started to get hot so i took my jacket off and threw it on the table. it was like 80.F and when it came time to take it,the bottle was REALLY warm, I was told you shouldnt leave medicine in heat or moisture, so i diddnt know what could happen, is it ok, still will work, should i not worrie and take it and just go about my day.

Also what would be the correct dosage when switching from 60mg oxycontin to methadone. The docs put me on 30mg & that was ok for about the first month. I'm thinking either 60 which would be 2 three times a day or 40 one four times a day.

I just recently started on Methadone as treatment for prescription pain pill addiction. Every morning I go into the clinic, drink 50 MG of liquid methadone. The stuff makes me pretty nauseous but until this morning, I've been able to hold it down for hours before getting sick. This morning, I took my dose, and left the building without waiting. I believe it stayed down for about 20 minutes. My fear is that my body might not have absorbed it and that I'll be sick before tomorrow morning. Does anyone know, for a fact, how long it takes for the body to absorb it, fully?
Measuring liquid methadone?
I'm on 120mg of methadone liquid a day. my question is How many miligrams of methadone are in one milliliter of liquid medication.I have a measuring cup and when i take my medicine it always goes to the 15 milimeter or one tablespoon ........I was just needing to know if thats correct. I mean I am paying alot of money to go to this clinic and get help and i want to make sure they are giving me the correct dose....I take it exactly how i'm suppose to,i guess i just worry too much or something. anyway, please help...oh, and i am BAD at math, so explain this to me like i am five years old lol thanks
What is the difference with liquid methadone and pill form methadone?
I am a drug addict and recently went onto the methadone program. My dose is 95mg a day. It seems when I took methadone in pill form off the street it was way stronger and worked a lot better. I was only taking anywhere from 40mg a day to 80mg a day tops. The pills also seemed to last 24 hours but the liquid that I get now isn't as nearly effective and does not last as long. So I want to know if there is a difference in the liquid methadone and the pill form methadone.Thanks in advance mattabYst

I have been on liquid methadone for just over a year now. I was constant at 60mg my highest dosage and about six months ago I strews to decrease and I am now at ten mg anybody who has ever gone to a clinic knows how expensive it can get. So I'm considering switching to the pills since I am at such a low dose now. If ten mg of liquid keeps me good for 24 hours how many mg with the pill should I take and do I do the same thing take it once a day or I've heard in passing that it only lasts four hours not really a reliable source . I am trying to do this right and be done and get this part of my life behind me, but I also don't wanna screw up everything I've done so far at the clinic. Please everybody I've gotten the lectures and I've been judged. That's not what I'm looking for I'm a good person that just had a lazy doctor who would rather have givin me pills than actually found out what was wrong. I'm just trying to find the safest cheapest and smartest way to get on with the rest of my life And also if anybody has any ideas of the best way to completely detox that would be helpful. Its just a little difficult because I raise three kids on my own and don't really have anybody to care for them while i detox sonic anybody knows any tricks to lessen the withdrawals thank you

Ive been on liquid methadone for 2 years now, and I have never taken anything else with it, I previously was prescribed Neurotin before I got on Liquid Methadone, and I was wondering if i could take the 2 together without there being a negative interaction, I have asked at the Clinic and they said I could, but I would like to hear someones experience opinion before I actually take them together..
