Was off methadone for 3 days?
Then 3 days later took another 1.5 mg subutex. Then 3 days later took 9 mg methadone. Been 2 days since the methadone. Have i set myself back to square 1 with all the drug swapping? I have heard that it can help with the withdrawals. I have about 6 mg methadone left and was going to take 1 mg every 3 days and then be done with it. Anyone have advice on whether this is a good or bad idea?

I beiginning to think I might actually have a problem like everyone has been telling me. I guess I was always to fu ed up to admit it. I huff a lot of axe, hairspray, and nailpolish remover. Almost everyday. I really just cant seem to stop. I've actually tried quitting before but the urge was too unbearable and I always gave in and relapsed. If methadone treats inhalant addiction I am going to ask a friend to take me to a local methadone clinic. If not.. I might just be done for

have taken for 10 years and just heard ultram can cause seizures when taken with methadone.I take methadone for pain as it's half life is 24 36 hours. instead of increasing the methadone, I try to take otc meds to help with pain.

I currently am taking about 45 to 60mg oxycontin a day and have been for the past year or so. Oak now at a point in my life were I want nothing more then to stop takin these damn pills. I have a friend that can get me methadone pills. I am planing on taking the pills for 4 or 5 days to help me quit. Mentally I'm more ready to stop then anything else in this world but I feel I need something to just take away the cravings. I know that If I can go for the few days without the opiate I will be able to stop. My concern is will I become phallically addicted to the methadone after taken it for a few days and will the pain of the withdrawals from the oxy be gone after those few days

please help.my boyfriend was herion addict for 12 years and has been clean for 3 years but was on methadone. he has stopped taking methadone since 2 days ago. he did reduce his dose slowly but stopped at 5ml or 10ml a day.not sure now. but anyway... he having bad cold turkey syptoms.. he wont talk to me alot about it because he knows i worry but what symptoms is he likely to be having and what can i do to help him and how long will this last?????i know he been aching in legs but thats all i know.. please help me i love him sooo much and cant bear to see him not hiself. i want to0 help him
Do I have to dissolve my 40MG Tablets of Methadone? Why am I not supposed to chew and/or swallow them?
I have been on methadone maintenance for about 3 years now & I just gained something called Step 30 which means that I don't have to go in to the clinic every day anymore. Instead, I come in once a month to pick up a months worth of pills. When I went in to the clinic I was getting liquid methadone, but now I have the Methadose 40mg Methadone Hydrochloride Tablets For Oral Suspension USP. On a different label they are also called Methadone HCL 40mg Diskettes. I'm told that I am not supposed to chew and or swallow them before I dissolve them in water. Unfortunetly, they taste horrible and even mixing them in OJ is nasty. My question is, why can't I break them up & swallow them, & if I did what would be the worst thing that could happen? If I do absolutely have to dissolve them first, do you have any advice on a less painful way to administer them? Thanks
